As we know friends Jammu and Kashmir is the state of northern India.This is the state which is very popular just because it beauty but also for its including in the war reason,So friends i would like to tell you something about Jammu too.

Jammu known as the city of temples is famous for its beautiful temples and Basmati rice. The vaishno devi shrine located on the beautiful trikuta hills is the center of attraction .Which is visited by over 1 crore (10 million) pilgrims every year.

The Kashmir valley is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscape . According to"Rajtrangini"

water was drained by Rishi kashyap by cutting gap in the hills at baramulla,it is proven with the fact that Kashmir is bowl shaped and word Kashmir if broken in two parts means dried out land since
KA means water and shmeera, which means dried out .
